The life we live is the life we perceive. How we perceive our lives and our circumstances determines how we experience our life. We all know this to be true, but how exactly can we make it work in our favor? How can we ensure a positive experience of our life? The answer lies in the development of our mind power.
Our conscious mind perceives the actions and events in our lives and gives rise to thought. Thought is the primary product of our conscious mind. This thought then gets converted into beliefs in our subconscious mind and determine the course of action we take in our lives, as the action we take is based on the beliefs we have about us and the situation we are in.
If we indulge in negative thoughts about our circumstances, they will lead to negative beliefs in ourselves. These negative beliefs like ‘I can’t do it,’ ‘I don’t deserve it,’ etc. come in the way of our achieving our goals without us even being entirely conscious of it. On the other hand, if we reinforce our mind with positive thoughts, the beliefs we hold will in turn be positive and help us achieve our goals. Such is the power of harnessing mind power. There are a number of techniques available to harness mind power positively. If we can harness our mind power positively, it will lead us to better results and outcomes in our lives. If we fail to harness it positively, we run the risk of spending our lives restricted by the negative beliefs we hold.
On the other hand, harnessing mind power allows our mind to have a desired impact on our moods and actions. Our mind always leaps to serve our best interests. For instance, in the event that the body is wounded or in pain, the mind releases endorphins to help relieve the pain. If we can harness our mind by providing it the correct input of thoughts, we can ensure that our minds are always in optimum condition to serve our best interests.
Harnessing mind power will allow you to achieve your goals and give you a positive experience of your life, irrespective of your circumstances.
Mind Power Healing

Mind power is an absolutely amazing skill to develop that can help you in each and every aspect in your life. We know that using mind power can help us think positively, achieve goals and be successful. But, can mind power help us heal ourselves? Yes. It sounds incredible, but it is true. You can use your mind power to heal yourself!
In fact, your mind always has an impact on your body. Here is how it works- an event happens that makes you angry. This is an effect on your mind. However, whenever you feel angry, your body responds with a flow of adrenaline and prepares you to deal with the object that threatens you. As you can see, what happens in the mind has an effect on the body.
How does this work? This works because of our endocrine system. When we feel a powerful emotion, our endocrine system secretes hormones in relation to that. So, when we feel angry, our endocrine glands produce adrenalin in our body. If there was no anger, there would be no adrenalin. Similarly, if there was no adrenalin, there would have been no anger.
Our mind power can be used to influence our healing system. Usually what happens is that when we are sick, or hurt or weakened, our body is trying its best to repair the damage caused. However, if our mind is lost in negative thoughts of pain and suffering, our endocrine system produces hormones in tune with our emotions and actually comes in the way of the healing process. Our mind and body work against each other, prolonging our suffering and making it more difficult for our bodies to heal themselves.
This is where developing mind power comes in. Visualization is a powerful tool used to harness mind power. You may remember that a simple tool used to control anger is to visualize something pleasant. This causes the mind to stop focusing on producing more adrenalin and helps control our anger. Similarly, visualizing positive images and providing yourself with self suggestion to heal will encourage the mind to produce hormones in tune with your visualization and help your body heal itself.

All of us have goals and all of us aspire to achieve them. We are told that hard work, determination, perseverance and other such qualities will help us achieve whatever it is that we set our aim on. But, we find that is not always true. We know enough people who have not achieved their life’s ambition. Sometimes, we get fooled by culturally accepted symbols of success like money, power, etc. But, we also know enough rich people who are not happy. So, what is it really that comes in the way of achieving success in the things that matter to us?
This is where mind power comes in. Our subconscious mind exerts tremendous power over our state of well being. If we can learn to influence our mind positively, we will benefit from the positive influence it exerts on us. But, if we fail to do so, our mind power can actually work against us. Remember, your mind power can only be positive or negative at any given time. If you are not ensuring that it is positive, you run the risk of your mind exerting a negative impact on you and your life.
Obstacles that come in the way of our success are the surest examples of our mind power working against us, when it is not influenced positively. It is our mind power that actually comes in the way of our own success. This is manifest in the belief we have about our life and our situation. The product of our conscious mind is our thought, while the product of our subconscious mind is usually a belief or a feeling. If our mind power is negatively influenced by our thoughts, it will give rise to negative beliefs in our selves, our abilities and the assessment of our situation. Typical examples are situations when you say: ‘I don’t deserve it anyway,’ or ‘this is impossible. I cannot aspire to it.’ Your mind power actually influences you that you are not capable of success.
On the other hand, if you influence your mind power by positive thoughts, your mind will also respond by providing a more positive outlook to yourself and your life.

In this modern fast paced world, we all face huge pressures and stress in our day to day lives. In order to help us with the physical and mental demands placed on us, a lot of us end up becoming to addicted to substances like nicotine and caffeine. After prolonged use of the substance, it becomes immensely difficult to get rid of our dependence on it. Even though we know that the addiction is causing damage to our physical and mental well being, we are unable to stop ourselves from having another cigarette or our daily cup of morning coffee.
One of the most effective ways to get rid of our addiction is by harnessing our mind power. Our mind has tremendous control over our body and our feelings, and even though we may not know it, our mind is either helping us or coming in the way of our attempts to shake off the addiction. If we can find a way to use our mind power to positive ends, we will not only be able to get rid of our addiction, we will have the secret of harnessing mind power to help improve our quality of life.
Our mind exercises control over our endocrine system. Our endocrine system has glands that secrete hormones into our body. Our emotions are largely dependant on the presence of these hormones in our body. For instance, when we see something that is exciting, we feel a surge of energy in our body, enabling us to be a part of that excitement. In reality, it is our pituitary gland has secreted adrenalin in our system and we feel the chemical reaction of it. Similarly, if our endocrine system did not create adrenalin, we would not feel any excitement irrespective of what we see.
The only way to control our endocrine system is through mind power. It is this control that helps us get rid of addictions. The biggest challenge to getting rid of an addiction is going through withdrawal systems. The physical symptoms lasts for a short time, but discomfort during this phase can drive us right back to our addiction. If we can harness our mind power to control the effects felt by our body during this phase, it is possible to get oneself of any addiction.
Mind Power and Identifying Success

All human beings want to be successful. However it is important to first identify exactly what success means. Success means different things to different people, but no matter how hard we try we are not always successful. Could this be because we are not sure about what success we are aspiring to?
For most people success means having health, wealth and great relationships. A combination of all three implies joy and happiness, physical and mental well being. Success without these components is considered empty. A large number of people struggle with acquiring all three in their lives at the same time. But, they are willing to put in hard work, effort and time into acquiring all three. Yet, you find a number of hard working people who do not consider themselves successful or happy. So, if hard work does not help us succeed, what can be done?
The most important issue is to be able to identify exactly what success means to each one of us individually, and not follow the dictates of our society and culture. This is where mind power comes in. You need to use your subconscious mind to help you identify what success means to you. Our conscious mind can easily be influenced by what we see, hear, understand and are taught throughout our lifetime, but our subconscious mind is unaffected by them. If we are fooled into chasing the false ideals of our society, it is the doing of our conscious mind. We now need to turn to our subconscious minds to identify exactly what it is that will bring us joy and happiness and fulfillment.
The easiest way to access our mind power is to stop our conscious mind from dominating it. Ideally begin with meditation and allow yourself to be rid of your conscious thought. This will help bring clarity and focus and will allow your mind power to concentrate on identifying its measure of success. Mind power will not only help you identify your goals, but will also help you accomplish them. The state of happiness is goal we can aspire to and depend on our mind power to help focus our energies in that direction.

Mind Power & Solving Problems

Mind Power is like a double edged sword; if you can’t make it work in your favor, it has the potential of working against you. The reason for this is that your mind always exerts control over you and if you can’t make it positive in nature, it can have a negative impact on you and your well being. But if you can ensure that it is positively influenced, you can make it work to your advantage and help solve your problems.
Here is how this works. For instance, when your mind perceives a threat, your subconscious mind immediately jumps to its rescue and provides the body with adrenalin through the endocrine system to help fight that threat. A man running for his life will run a lot faster than he ever has and will also run faster than the man who is running to win. Such is the power of our mind. If our mind is stimulated, the signs that it sends to your subconscious mind, will elicit a response that will help you in the given situation.
The problem arises when we, faced with problems, provide negative stimulus to our subconscious mind. If we are faced with sickness, and we keep telling ourselves that the situation is hopeless, that is the message we are sending to our subconscious mind and its response is not likely to be positive. It is likely to become a belief and will slowly affect both your physical and mental well being.
The solution to this is simple, if when we are sick, we reinforce positive messages about wellness, we are signaling our mind that our wellness is the goal we are seeking and it will respond by providing that state of mind which is most conducive to wellness, like release of endorphins to relieve pain.
Similarly, when we are faced with other problems in life, it is important to always reinforce messages of success and well being in our mind and our mind will take it upon itself to help you with the task. Your mind will be in a state which is optimum for the solution of that problem.

Subconscious mind is that part of our working mind that we have no direct access to. It functions non stop even when our conscious mind is inactive, like when we are sleeping. For a very long time, we were not aware even of the existence of our subconscious mind. In the recent decades, a number of specialists have tried to define its role and identify how our subconscious mind power can affect our lives.
On one hand, psychoanalysts like Sigmund Freud have considered our subconscious mind nothing other than a bundle of impulses and desires that are primate in nature and need control from our rational mind. On the other hand, some scientists have maintained that we are unknowingly enslaved by our subconscious mind and though we may believe that we have control of our mind and our actions, our lives are, in fact, being dictated by our subconscious mind.
These are the two extremes of approaching the concept of our mind power and its impact on our lives. In the recent past, we have been able to confirm that mind power is not simply ‘brain power’, but also includes the workings of our subconscious minds. It is the effect of both our thinking brain and our subconscious mind that shapes our actions, beliefs and hence, our lives.
The state of our body is governed by the kind of chemical reactions taking place inside it. Some of these chemical reactions like digestion of food, absorption of oxygen, etc. do not need any control and are self sufficient. On the other hand, a number of chemical reactions are determined by our state of mind, because of our endocrine system. Our endocrine glands secrete hormone that decide the chemical balance of our body, and they are dependant on our mind. For instance, our body will feel a rush of adrenalin, which is a hormone secreted by the pituitary gland, when we experience anger or fear. So, we can see that our subconscious mind does control the state of our body.
Harnessing our mind power with positivity can help direct positive energies within our bodies and can have a positive impact on our lives.
Harnessing Mind Power

Mind power is the ability to influence our mind which in turn has an impact on our body, health, success and life itself. We are always being influenced by our mind. By controlling our endocrine system, our mind exercises control over the chemical balance of our body and our moods. If we can find a way to influence our mind, we can ensure that the effect our mind has on our body is a positive one.
Our subconscious mind is constantly working, even when our active mind is inactive, like when we are asleep. However, unlike the rational brain where different parts of the brain serve different functions, our subconscious mind is considered to be a single entity. Even though it works rapidly and can change swiftly, it can, however, do only one thing at a time.
The subconscious mind is considered to be like an ever present stream. It is always there and at all points it has a distinguishing property. The water can be soft or hard, sweet or salty at different times, but never at the same time. Applied to the subconscious mind, what this implies is that at any point in time, the subconscious is always exerting its influence on us. It can be positive or negative at different times, but never at the same time. The more positive it is, the better our well being is and vice versa. What this means is that if can influence our mind to be positive, it will impact our physical and mental well being positively.
On the other hand, since our mind can only be positive or negative at a time, the more amount of time it is positive, the less opportunity it has to be negative. So by harnessing mind power into positive channels, not only will we benefit from its positive impact, we will also be able to avoid negative impact it can have on us and our lives.
The best way to impact our mind positively is by making a conscious effort to be positive in our thoughts and action. This is not easy, but a number of techniques like visualization, self-suggestion, hypnosis among many others are making it possible.

Wealth is an important goal in everyone’s life and whether we are looking for survival, abundance or luxury, it is important to be able to acquire wealth in order to achieve our goals. It is commonly understood in our society and culture that any goal you set for yourself, including that of attaining wealth, is possible to achieve by hard work, determination and perseverance. However, we know that that just having these qualities is not enough to achieve wealth, as there are a number of determined and hardworking people around us who are not successful.
So what is the secret to attaining wealth? The answer is Mind Power. We need to understand and harness our mind power to not only help us achieve our goals, but also because the mind power will become an obstacle in your way if you don’t harness it positively. Let’s first look at how mind power can help us achieve our goals.
Depending on the messages sent to it by our thoughts, our mind prepares our body physically, mentally and emotionally to serve the best purpose in any given situation. For instance, in case of a physical threat, your body feels a surge of adrenalin and you become angry in order to battle the threat. Similarly, Mind power can be harnessed towards any goal you want to achieve, including accumulation of wealth.
The ability of being able to perfectly understand someone’s perspective is an important technique in building mind power. If we can place ourselves in somebody else’s shoes, you have a great chance of being able to get them to see things from your point of view. This can be useful in any business situation, whether you are selling, or negotiating or closing a deal.
Finally, if your thoughts are positive about acquiring health, it will keep the mind from exerting a negative influence on you in the form of negative beliefs. These negative beliefs like ‘I can’t do it,’ ‘It is impossible’ or ‘I don’t deserve it anyway’ are prime examples of how your mind power can work against you if you do not make the effort of making it positive.

- · Once you have decided on your goals, you need to use mind power to help you accomplish these goals. The first step is visualization. Clear of conscious thought, you need to be able to visualize your success in achieving this goal. You need to see yourself having achieved that goal, for instance, a ballplayer will visualize hitting the home run. Visualization is a very powerful technique in using mind power, common instances of which include visualizing something tranquil to control anger.
- · The next step is self affirmation. Your mind power has influence over you at all times. If you can not ensure that it is positive, you run the risk of negative impacts. Self affirmation is one of the techniques of feeding the subconscious mind with positive influence, so that in turn, your mind exerts a positive influence on you in aiding you to achieve them.
- · You need to cultivate your mind power to help you influence other people who can help you achieve this goal. The only way you can get them to help you is by being able to have them look at things from your point of view. To do so, you will need mind power to be able to first understand their perspective.
- · The thoughts of your conscious mind influence your mind power. It is important to keep negativity away from your thoughts and ensure that you do not allow any negative thoughts in your mind. Positive thinking helps influence the beliefs and feelings that arise from mind power and help pave our way to success.
